Since most of them were owned by financial corporations like hedge funds and mutual fund companies, you would not see a lot of criticism going that way, explains the asset manager Barry James Dyke. Similarly, the financial journalist Max Keiser adds that the mainstream media is deeply in debt, unlikely to insult the bankers who have the power to cut off their lines of credit.
