These support genuine security, consent preferences, essential operation, load balancing, or fraud prevention. They may operate without optional consent where permitted.
Preference technologies
The site uses local storage to remember the selected color theme and privacy choices.
Analytics technologies
Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights are included for usage and performance measurement. Google Analytics 4 loads only after analytics consent is granted.
Advertising technologies
Advertising is currently disabled. If enabled, Google or another provider may use storage to display and measure ads, detect invalid activity, limit frequency, personalize where permitted, and understand interactions.
Embedded-content technologies
YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain is used. Google or YouTube may store or access information when a player loads or is used. Privacy-enhanced mode does not prevent every data transfer.

Free Documentary Vault does not currently set non-essential first-party cookies. The two named first-party values above use local storage rather than HTTP cookies.
Managing preferences
The working consent manager lets visitors accept optional technologies, reject them, or manage analytics and advertising categories. Choices can be reset by clearing this site’s browser storage. Rejecting optional technologies is available alongside accepting them.
Browser and third-party controls
Visitors may delete or block cookies and storage through browser settings. Blocking some technologies may affect video playback or saved preferences. Third-party services may provide separate privacy controls, and Free Documentary Vault does not control storage created directly by those services.
