4 young callcenter agents from different countries are the focal point of this film. They all work in Amsterdam, at what is known as the Teleport, an area near to the harbour with the highest concentration of call centres in Europe. Their lives and their work as operators at the pan-European call centres reflect in a very special and at the same time existential fashion what we understand by the terms globalisation, post-modern production methods, flexibility and new working conditions.
