About Training To Be The Ultimate Soldier | Special Forces

Over in the Philippines, the military is training a unit at Basic School bred for strategic combat, known as the Force Reconnaissance Battalion - a special operations arm of the Philippines’ marines. This unit conducts far-ranging reconnaissance, patrols, and operations, with the ability to infiltrate by sea, air, and land. The intensive training program is designed to be as realistic and hazardous as possible, because the troops are sent into combat directly after training. For the select few troops who get selected, they’ll move on to specialised training that’s even more strenuous. The troops are put through live fire exercises, hand-to-hand combat with knives, and parachuting from helicopters for the most realistic training experience.
