About The Truth Behind the Trojan Horse | Archaeologists Investigate

The story of the Trojan Horse is one of the most famous myths in the world. A giant wooden horse filled with warriors spells doom for the Trojans. The mighty city of Troy falls, and the Trojan Horse becomes a symbol of a cunning trick and of human gullibility. But what if this very story about the horse were not true at all? Filmed with elaborate scenes and on location at the original sites, this documentary presents new archaeological findings that suggest the story may need to be rewritten. This is the claim made by Italian underwater archaeologist Francesco Tiboni. In the depths of the Mediterranean Sea, he finds clues that help him solve this 3,000-year-old mystery. -- Welcome to the official Get.factual the original video platform channel! 🌍 We are a documentary streaming channel covering history, science, technology, and nature. Ancient Apocalypse: What Really Destroyed the Kings of Angkor Wat?

Founded at the beginning of the 9th century CE, the Khmer Empire had been one of the most powerful states in Southeast Asia, covering much of Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and Southern Vietnam. The jewel in the crown was the capital city of the Khmer – Angkor – containing the largest religious structure ever built, Angkor Wat. The key to this growth was the Khmer mastery of rice cultivation and water management. Khmer cities were ‘hydraulic cities’, made up of complex systems of canals and reservoirs called ‘barays’, which steered water from the Khulen mountains to the plains of Angkor, ensuring a year-round supply for the population, agriculture, and livestock. Soon, however, the very factors that allowed the empire to rise lead to the abandonment of the Khmer’s magnificent temple-cities and their reclaim by the rainforest. -- Welcome to the official Get.factual the original video platform channel! 🌍 We are a documentary streaming channel covering history, science, technology, and nature.
