Climate change and displacement - How people are being forced to flee their homes

Over the past 10 years, climate change has displaced an average of 70,000 people, every day. This, according to figures from the UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR. Poorer countries are particularly hard hit. There is no universal legal framework that would offer these people protection. Climate-induced displacement is not recognised as a valid ground for asylum under the Geneva Convention. Now, three countries in Latin America, the Pacific and Asia are responding to an emergency that directly affects each of them. One of these countries is Bangladesh. The America Most People Never See | Leaving Society Behind | ENDEVR Documentary Hidden deep in the forests of Oregon, a small off-grid community has chosen to leave modern society behind. Far from cities and conventional life, former addicts, ex-convicts, dreamers, and outsiders search for freedom, healing, and a fresh start in one of America's most isolated corners. This documentary follows the lives of people trying to rebuild their lives on their own terms. Some battle addiction and loneliness; others struggle with love, loss, or the lasting scars of prison. United by a desire to escape the pressures of the outside world, they have created an unconventional community where survival depends as much on one another as on the land itself. With intimate access and striking cinematography, Unpaved: Respite from the World offers a rare glimpse into off-grid America, asking whether it's truly possible to leave society behind—or whether the past always finds its way back. This documentary first aired in 2023. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ENDEVR explains the world we live in through high-quality documentaries, special investigations, explainer videos, and animations.

Seconds From Death: How These People Survived Wild Animal Attacks

Wild animals are born to hunt, and locking them behind bars does not erase millions of years of predatory evolution. This gripping documentary highlights what happens when human error allows nature’s most powerful forces to break free from captivity. From an alpha chimpanzee leading a mass breakout in a West African rainforest to a high-end charity dinner that turned into a living nightmare when a 600-pound Siberian tiger walked through an unlocked cage door, these encounters show how quickly control vanishes. When the gates fail and safety mechanisms crack, a survival instinct takes over, resulting in a chaotic battle between human endurance and wild ferocity.
