Lang Vei Siege: The Most Daring Special Forces Raid of The Vietnam War?

At the height of the Vietnam War, a US Special Forces camp was overwhelmed by a fierce armored tank, trapping 8 Green Berets inside an underground concrete bunker. Their only hope was a rescue operation led by a small group of commandos. On 31 January 1968, North Vietnam violated a truce when the NVA (North Vietnamese Army) launched attacks in South Vietnam, and United States Embassy in Saigon was taken over by enemy invaders. Caught in the invasion was a small special forces camp called Lang Vei where South Vietnamese troops were being trained for combat. Through personal interviews we learn how the battle of Lang Vei became a testament to the Green Berets' unwavering resolve against overwhelming odds. Nazis used Operation Bernhard, led by SS officer Bernhard Krüger, to forge millions of pounds in an attempt to destabilize the British economy. But did the gold actually exist or was it just a myth?
