About Could You Survive 13 Weeks of Marine Hell?
This is Thailand's Marine Recon training course, turning regular troops into elite soldiers over a 13-week course that one-third of them will fail. Before an infantry assault, the Marine Recon will strike by sea or air, prepared for unconventional warfare, operating behind enemy lines gathering intelligence and attacking specific targets. Today there are only 700 recon marines, all of whom passed Thailand's toughest training course based in Sattahip Naval Base. It all begins with phase one, Hercules training, consisting of constant physical and mental punishment for 33 days. The troops also go through weapons drills and routines, assaults by sea, extreme heavy lifting, diving into the sea, parachuting and jungle survival training. Those that survive this course will earn the Marine Recon badge, symbolising the three elements they learn to fight in: water, sky, and land. Those recruits that come in the top 10% can join an even more elite club: Force Recon Battalion. WONDER is packed with binge worthy reality documentaries for hours of entertainment.
